Terms of Use

Use of this site means acceptance of these terms. A visitor who does not agree with them should stop using the site.

Howard County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a consumer report or any service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant decisions. The site is a records-navigation resource for Howard County and Arkansas, not a private investigator or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

This private reference site stores no official jail, court, police, or corrections record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, accept a filing, or act for a government office.

Its pages point readers toward Howard County booking and police contacts, Arkansas correctional and court resources, federal locators, and search tools run by outside providers.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site and its links in a lawful, respectful way. In particular, a visitor may not:

  • Break any applicable law while accessing the site.
  • Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another FCRA-covered decision on site content.
  • Attempt access to an account, server, or system without authorization.
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the site.
  • Damage, overload, or interfere with access for other visitors.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and its partners do not provide screening services through these pages. Users agree not to rely on information found here for:

  • A decision to hire, retain, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
  • Tenant selection, housing access, or a lease decision.
  • Creditworthiness, a loan, or an insurance rate.
  • A license, permit, or government-benefit eligibility decision.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

External Resources

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections sites, court portals, official locators, legal-aid material, news outlets, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. Howard County Busted Mugshots does not control a destination's content, data handling, terms, price, or availability, and visitors should review those policies themselves.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • Every fact is accurate, complete, or current.
  • Access will always be uninterrupted.
  • The service is free from defects or security weaknesses.
  • A partner search will return every relevant record.

Custody and public records can change at any time. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Howard County Sheriff's Office or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the owners, operators, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use this site.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless stated otherwise, the site's original text, design elements, graphics, logos, and code belong to Howard County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, republished, or distributed without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here, and continued use after that point means acceptance of the new terms.

Access May Be Ended

Access may be suspended, restricted, or revoked at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice.

Arkansas Law Controls

These terms are governed by Arkansas law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Arkansas.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
